With the largest leaves of all of the rhododendrons, R. sinogrande will add a 'tropical' feeling to any garden that can grow it. After 8 years, the leaves will be 12" wide and 3 feet long. The flowers are a cream color with a purple/black throat, but will take 8-10 years to first appear. Native to the Himalayan range in China, Tibet and upper Burma.
