Taxus baccata 'Repens Aurea'

Taxus baccata 'Repens Aurea'

Here is a cool, low-growing, yellow form of English yew. The plant only grows to 15 inches tall and 4 feet across in 10 years. The outer foliage is a bright golden-yellow, while the leaves inside are more yellow-green. The side branches tend to 'droop', giving the plant  a relaxed look. This very old variety from England has been misnamed 'Repandens Aurea', but the true name is 'Repens Aurea'. For those that love yews, this is worth having.
