Endless Summer 'Bloomstruck'

This patented hydrangea was bred by Bailey Nurseries and Dr. Michael Dirr and introduced in 2014. The hybrid is a cross between 'The Original' and 'Twist-n-shout', two members of the Endless Summer® series, hydrangeas that were bred for their cold hardiness and the ability to bloom on both old and new wood. This medium growing hydrangea, 3-4 feet tall x 4-5 feet wide, will have pink or blue blooms, depending on the soil pH, and sometimes having both colors. Since it blooms on both old and new wood, the flowering will rebloom all summer long. The fall color of the foliage is reddish purple.
