Bright, cheerful golden yellow flowers cover this easy to grow perennial in mid summer. The plant is tidy, and stays in a tight clump, expanding only slightly every year.  The spiky leaves curve gracefully at the tips, making a pleasing accent plant when not in bloom.  Plant with purple or blue flowering perennials for an attractive display. Crocosmia × crocosmiiflora is an interspecific hybrid resulting from a cross between C. aurea and C. pottsii. Native to the grasslands of South Africa. Excellent cut flowers. There is an invasive form of crocosmia here in our area with orange flowers. THIS PLANT IS NOT INVASIVE!
