This 'ironclad' rhododendron is very tough. Forming a dense mounded shrub, the foliage is always very dark green. This plant will survive with very low maintenence. Can take more heat as well. Because it holds its foliage for more than 2 years, the plant always is full and bushy. The leaves are immaculate and attractive all year long. Can grow in full sun or partial shade. Hardy to zone 6.
