All through the year heaths and heather are blooming in our display gardens. And even when not in bloom, their foliage can take on dramatic shades of red, gold or lime green. These wonderful plants are relatively drought tolerant, are easy to grow and add interest all year long.

A cushion type Calluna that has tiny racemes of pale lavender flowers from August through September on tight, bright green foliage. The most floriferous of the 'cushion' Callunas. Shown here in our garden in July with the flowers just beginning to appear.
