Amazing Heaths & Heathers for your Garden

All through the year heaths and heather are blooming in our display gardens. And even when not in bloom, their foliage can take on dramatic shades of red, gold or lime green. These wonderful plants are relatively drought tolerant, are easy to grow and add interest all year long.

The best show on this choice heather is not the flowers, but the foliage, which is a nice light green with pink tips most of the year. This photo was taken in our garden when 'Mrs. Pat' was not in bloom. The flowers are a pale lavender and appear from August through October. Easily damaged by windburn. A seedling collected on Broadstone Moors, Dorset, England, by Mrs. P. S. Patrick.
